Cal Haines brings to Del Webb some of New Mexico’s best jazz performers. Cal is a multi-year NM Mexico Music Award-winning artist whose various groups have also appeared in the NM Jazz Festival and on the premiere stages of The Outpost Performance Space and The Albuquerque Museum, amongst others statewide. He’s known for his sensitive touch and tuned-in listening as his drumming contributes more texture and interest than only a reliable beat. Cal teaches percussion students of all ages, both as a mentor in the public schools and through private lessons.

     John Funkhouser’s credentials on piano are staggering, a match for the greats with whom he’s performed. His versatility and joyful presence take melody new places with much-loved old jazz standards that everyone will recognize and come to appreciate anew. He formerly taught at the prestigious Berklee School of Music.

     Colin Deuble’s distinctive style on the upright bass captivates audiences, drawing them in with his intricate interpretations that skillfully balance harmony and the nuanced punctuation of each tune. His ability to navigate complex rhythms and melodies showcases not only his technical prowess but also his deep understanding of musical expression.
